Over ten years of experience in publishing and screenwriting…
Starting at 5-hour packages, our book coaching services are unique and tailored to each client’s story and writing style. Each session starts with questions that will help guide you further along in the story. Book coaching helps you reach your goal quicker. Whether you’re stuck in the middle of your book or you want coaching at the very beginning, this service is perfect for accountability.
I offer four types of editing: proofreading, copyediting, line editing and developmental editing. Each editing type varies based on the project and a quote is required before work starts. To learn more about the different types of editing, visit our editing services page. Your book will go through several rounds of professional editing. Book coaching can reduce the stress of editing.
A manuscript critique is valuable for author’s before they submit their completed manuscript to agents, publishers or even before self-publishing. A partial or full critique can help highlight areas where your manuscript is weak and provide feedback that will help you strengthen the plot, dialogue, pacing and character development. Manuscript critiques provide a 5-10 page report on your story.
Children’s Book Services
I offer services as it pertains to the writing (coaching), editing and consulting for your children’s book. In addition to editing your children’s book, I also offer concept analyses. This is a 2-3 page report on the overall concept of your story. It helps you to measure the commercial viability of your story. Packages includes 2-3 rounds of editing and a concept analysis.
Query & Synopsis Services
If you’ve already decided that you want to take the traditional publishing route, you’ll need a query letter. I’ve had three of my manuscripts requested by agents based on my query letter and synopsis. I offer query & synopsis critique and coaching. Whether you’ve already written your query/synopsis or you want me to help you, this service is perfect for you.
If you’re an entrepreneur who’s ready to write a book for your business, you’ve come to the right place. A business book will truly show your target audience that you’re an expert in your industry. It sets you apart and proves that you’re committed to seeing your clients get results. Even if you have a product based business, you can still monetize your expertise by writing a book.
